There is new growth and flowering in native mistletoe with the shift towards spring.
The day’s achievements: new plantings, removal of ivy, tree lucerne, pittosporum and broom, and some new volunteers.
Spring is here and the colours are changing in the Edward Hunter Heritage Bush Reserve
Wattles have been in flower since winter; they’re still going into spring – and there are some new ones in the Reserve.
The local heather has been flowering for some time now, with a range of pinks and whites, and is now accompanied by a pink flowered version of hakea decurrens and the densely flowering Furze Hakea.
