It is probably the preparations for breeding season because there has been a great deal of activity among the bird life in the Reserve. Pied Currawongs have been calling and collecting nesting materials.
Flowering for a few weeks, this hakea has a lovely scent.
This time of year, the view turns golden with the blooming of the native wattle.
